Music Fest Recap

This past weekend, the PanJammers performed at the Panorama Caribbean Music Fest in Virginia Beach for the third time. It was an enjoyable day with great music, great weather, and a great turn out.

This time around, we played 4 pieces: El Cuarto de Tula, Patricia, Fever, and Dain Brammage. The result?... A gold medal in our category!

Earning silver medals for our sister bands of Quest Academy were the Bahama Mamas and Panamania of Roanoke.

Some band members' favorite performers were St. Luke's Episcopal Church Steel Band from New Haven, Connecticut; Findlay High School's Pantasia from Findlay, Ohio; Rhythm Project All Stars from Hampton Roads, Virginia; and last year's (and this year's) winner Positive Vibrations Youth Steel Orchestra, CAFE from Mitchellville, MD.

Joyous to know about this music fest. Last month, took help of internet and booked one of excellent New York Event Venues. Arranged my friend’s musical event there and he performed very well. It was a successful event.
