Alas, the first installment of Kathryn's treats: Haystacks. Here's what you need: 2 cups chocolate chips 3 1/2 to 4 cups chow mein noodles 2 tbs peanut butter 1 cup chopped pecans Melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter in the top of a double boiler. Remove it from the heat and stir in noodles and pecans. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. Cool. Enjoy... and share!

The PanJammers are in the midst of learning some new songs arranged by Patrik Bernhard, who also arranged Rock 'n' Roll Medley.Lead Pan Christine did a little research about one song in particular, "Hazely Crawford." May's Lyric Concert was awesome. A good number of people came out to watch us perform. Both Island Pan and the PanJammers participated, playing such songs as Tequila, Blue Samba, You Safe, Jump in the Line, Pan Party, and many more.Video clips from this concert will be available soon. The PanJammers Steel Drum Orchestra earned a silver medal at the 4th Annual Panorama Caribbean Music Fest in Virginia Beach on May 13, missing a gold medal by just one point! This was the band's second appearance in the nationally-recognized festival. In 2005, the group was awarded a bronze medal.
